Dear, Writer…
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas,
That your hearts are full of cheer,
That you have lots of joy
For writing all the year!
But if your page is lacking,
And you’ve words still left to count,
Don’t worry! 2024 is what writing is all about!
A brand new year is at the doorstep
With possibilities galore!
Don’t worry about what’s left behind;
God has so much more in store.
And as He guides you in His peace,
You will surely know
The greatest blessing is in the “present”
That’s why He named it so.
So as you celebrate the Christ child,
I hope you understand,
The Word took flesh and dwelt with us;
Mary held HIM in her hand.
Now all throughout the passing years
When His people pick up their pens
God’s own Spirit indwelling you
Makes the Word take flesh again.
