Have you ever wanted a little more courage, writer? Well, today, I’m here to share with you a simple key to courage. That key comes from our King.
This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. – Joshua 1:8
Success comes from courage, writer. What is the most encouraging thing you know of? For me, it’s when I know I am in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. And you see, our King has given us a roadmap—His Word—so we may walk with confidence because we know we’re walking with Him.
And how do we know we’re following that map? By studying it and studying its Maker. It is as we chew on Him, writer—His words and His ways—that we begin to gain wisdom and begin to see things as they really are. The true path He’s laid out before our feet.
When we know how to walk and where to walk, we begin to walk with confidence. The confidence of His steady presence and of the backing of our King because our eyes are opened to see where He’s at work in us and all around us! How is that for courage, writer? How is that for a path in life? A way that is prosperous?
Now, we may not know every little detail along the way. But He will faithfully reveal His guideposts—not just for life but for us specifically—as we meditate on His Word and His Ways.
And, in closing, I am reminded of this…
You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts (paths) overflow with abundance. – Psalm 65:11
May you gain courage from following His path, today!
