What time is it, writer? Have you been wondering, writer, if now is really the time to write that book? After all, life can feel pretty smooth and easy…until we start writing.
It was probably similar for Queen Esther. Life in the palace was likely smooth, until she had to share an important message with the King. Then life got complicated. After all, she wasn’t allowed to see the King whenever she wanted, but she knew—for the sake of her people—she had to.
Maybe you’ve felt the same way, writer. Like there’s a story on your heart, but life hasn’t allowed you into the inner sanctum of writing.
Here’s the thing I want to share with you, writer. Your message is critical, too. There are people who need your message. For such a time as this, your story has been given. Unlike Esther, you’re the only one who can tell it.
Now, lest this feel heavy, here’s the GOOD news! Our King is no moody monarch. He’s on our side with all the backing of Heaven waiting to help you get that story out! All you have to do is start moving like Esther—to do the thing that feels impossible, but isn’t. It may take some hard choices. But your King is there to give you wisdom, strength, and grace as you step out in faith of His call.
So I encourage you today, writer. What time is it? It’s time to write!
Let the Lord guide you in the where, when, and how. But take courage to take that first step BEFORE you have all the answers. To make the space for what’s important, like Esther did. There are lives that will be changed forever because of our courage!
