Rhythm Writing
Gloria Estefan famously warned, “The rhythm is gonna get you.” Take her seriously. It will. We can’t help but tap our feet, nod our heads, or do a little jig when a favorite song plays. It moves us. That rhythm drags us into the world of that song whether we want to go or not. Did you know that rhythm in your prose can do the same? It’s in there, woven in with the syllables and punctuation and word choices. We may not tap our feet while reading James Patterson, but, then again, maybe we do. Find out how to create your own rhythm and get your readers on the dance floor for the time of their life.
